Bob and Chanel St. Clair were born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. They were married in October of 1971 and have three children. Wanting to be near the beach they packed up and moved to Toms River, NJ (The Jersey Shore). The in 1986 they moved to Sarasota, FL and resided there for 11 years. Following and anniversary visit to the beautiful St. Augustine, FL, they fell in love with this great city. They ended up packing up yet again and moving to St. Augustine in 1997. That same year they opened up Hot Stuff Mon hot shop. They have had great fun with owning and operating the shop and meeting so many wonderful people from all over the world.
On September 2009 Hot Stuff Mon was featured in Southern Living issue. The hot sauce featured was the datil pepper mainly Old St. Augustine.
